ICOM-CC Publications Online
Access the ICOM-CC Publications Online Platform
The ICOM-CC Publications Online Platform offers access to around 3,000 papers, extended abstracts and posters encompassing Triennial Preprints and contributions from Working Group interim meetings. As one of the largest repositories of freely accessible published conservation materials, this Platform is an invaluable resource for professionals worldwide. Its creation, expansion, and maintenance require ongoing funding, and we are deeply grateful for past support from Getty (including the Getty Research Institute, the Getty Conservation Institute, the Getty Foundation), Stichting ICOM-CC Fund, ICOM Special Projects funding, and generous individual donations.
ICOM-CC would also like to acknowledge specific funding support from institutions and individuals for the following collections of Working Group publications:
- Work in Progress. The Artists' Gestures and Skills Explored through Art Technological Source Research. Proceedings of the Ninth Symposium of the ICOM-CC Working Group on Art Technological Source Research, University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris, 24-25 November 2022 - Publishing support from: Institut für Technologie der Malerei - Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart, Germany
Please consider donating to help preserve and expand this essential resource for the field of conservation.
A significant milestone in this initiative was the digitalisation of 10 of the print-format Triennial Preprints covering the years 1972 through1999. This major portion of the project was made possible by the expertise and support of the Getty Research Institute (GRI) and Getty Conservation Institute (GCI). These scanned volumes are also accessible for download on the Internet Archive (Getty Research Institute section).
ICOM-CC Publishing Policy
All ICOM-CC publications are required to adhere to the ICOM publication policy. An Author Copyright Transfer to ICOM-CC is required from all authors for all published materials; ICOM-CC does not engage in shared copyright or licensing agreements. This policy has been in place for nearly a decade, helping to manage publications efficiently within a volunteer-based structure and limited financial resources.
ICOM-CC also facilitates a variety of published materials that do not make up part of the ICOM-CC Publications Online Platform. These materials include Working Group newsletters, booklets or programmes with abstracts, papers, and posters from Working Group activities. All publications, from the Triennial Preprints through to Working Group activities, fall under the ICOM-CC copyright policy, ensuring that scholarly work is freely accessible to a broad international audience through the ICOM-CC Publications Online Platform and on the ICOM-CC website.
All publications, whether digital or print, must acknowledge the ICOM-CC network and are archived according to international guidelines. This policy ensures the long-term accessibility and preservation of published materials produced through ICOM-CC activities.
