ICOM-CONSERVATION (ICOM-CC) invites proposals from a consortium of local organizations to host the 22nd ICOM-CONSERVATION Triennial Conference in September 2029.
This esteemed event will bring together conservation professionals, scientists, historians, curators, and other stakeholders from around the globe.
The conference will attract up to 1,000 delegates and will include:
- Plenary Sessions
- Working Group Sessions
- ICOM-CC Statutory Meetings
- Technical Visits and Excursions
- Social Events
The National Organizing Committee (NOC), made up of local museums, institutions, and other entities, will handle the logistics, budgeting, and overall coordination of the event. Final approval for all aspects will be granted by the ICOM-CONSERVATION Directory Board. We strongly encourage the NOC to include a diverse range of local stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and successful event.
Through its active Working Groups, ICOM-CONSERVATION will provide the conference programming, including plenary sessions, oral presentations, posters, and the publication of the 22nd Triennial Conference Preprints.
