ICOM-CC Metals Working Group. Registration Now Open!
Metal 2019

The organizing committee is pleased to announce that early bird registration is now open for Metal 2019. We invite you to join us in Neuchâtel Switzerland from September 2-6, 2019 hosted by the Haute Ecole Arc Conservation-restauration at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland.

We had an exceptional response to the call for papers and posters and we are anticipating a fantastic conference with a dynamic and topical program. Highlights of the Metal 2019 program include:

Engaging technical sessions including practical conservation and conservation science from around the world.

Flash poster presentations to set the scene for our biggest poster session yet.

Presentations by Young Conservation Professionals presenting their work for the first time among their peers.

An unforgettable post conference day trip to the Val de Travers, a spectacularly beautiful region of Switzerland. More details are available at

A fabulous social program including an opening reception, conference dinner, visit to the Haute Ecole Arc Conservation-restauration workshops, and a farewell reception. More details will be available on the conference website shortly.

Five excellent pre-conference workshops are planned. Stay tuned for more information and how to sign up.
