Getty Conservation Institute: Photo Conservation workshop, August 2017

The Getty Conservation Institute is pleased to announce Twentieth-Century Color Photographs: Contemporary Practice, Identification, and Preservation, the second workshop in the annual series Current Issues in Photograph Conservation.  This five-day workshop will be held August 7 – 11, 2017 at the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades, California

Sylvie Pénichon, Senior Conservator, Department of Photography, The Art Institute of Chicago

Tram Vo, Project Specialist, Getty Conservation Institute, Los Angeles

Janka Krizanova, Head of Conservation and Restoration Department, Academy of Fine Arts & Design, Bratislava, Slovakia. 

Cost:

The cost of the workshop is US $600.  Participants are responsible for all travel and lodging expenses associated with the workshop.  The organizers will provide a list of lodging available near to the Getty Villa.

The deadline for submission is February 27, 2017.  The final selection of applicants will be made according to the eligibility criteria outlined in the application materials.  Applicants will be notified of the decision by March 24, 2017.
