The Getty Conservation Institute is pleased to announce that papers from the GCI's Experts' Roundtable on Sustainable Climate Management Strategies (Tenerife, Spain, 2007) are now available for download from the GCI's website (http://www.getty.edu/conservation/science/climate/climate_experts_roundtable.html). Topics addressed include current climate management strategies and emerging trends; the meaning of sustainability in relation to the preservation of cultural heritage; and whether cultural institutions such as museums, archives, and libraries can or should play a role in the debate about energy consumption. The participants' discussion papers are supplemented by a transcript of the meeting and a bibliography on climate management.
